ROCK YOUR GOALS - 2016

The two lives of all things...

Have you ever looked around you at every item you own and wondered of it's origin? The building you're in, the furniture you are sitting on, the computer in front of you - even the mail application that you're reading this from.

Every one of them was first a thought. It had an invisible life that came to fruition to experience this life.

Our ideas, dreams and visions are made of the same potentiality as we approach each new year with great intentions.

The Kenyan sunset below was one of those realizations for me. At about 14 years old, I found myself engrossed in National Geographic Magazines, namely the images of African wildlife and sunsets.

Flash forward to 2013, I found myself being asked to shoot for a non-profit client in Kenya. As you might imagine, there was no pause between the question she started to ask, and my saying "YES - I'll go!" On my first morning in the Kenyan village Chwele, this sunset image was actually being created for the second time. Only this time, I get to share it.

On return from Kenya, my state-of-mind and behavior was puzzling to many, including myself. I was practically must for about two weeks while I processed the barrage of epiphanies and insights that literally WOKE ME UP!

This little village was as "third world" as one might imagine, yet it was filled with happiness, gratitude and appreciation for life. I was rejuvenated and stepped into a conviction to MAKE MY LIFE MATTER!

Why am I here?

What makes me get out of bed in the morning?

How could I ever go back to living my life as small as I was?.. Well - I haven't!

I spent that next New Year's Eve (2014) at my dining table with a very priceless friend who already lives his life this way. Maximizing every day to be the greatest version of himself that he can be. My friend Graham (Sandy) Salisbury evolved from being my writing mentor, to my partner in embracing possibilities for the new year.

One single word that changed my life forever - Possibility!

With regular check-ins, we agreed that it was the longest any of us had ever stuck to our lists. His most successful book was not only turned into a movie - "Under the Blood Red Sun". While my successes were not as public, they were significant, and have perpetuated my craving to accomplish even more.

I created a new site, I began giving presentations, I increased my studio sales (with the same price list - thank you), I completely revamped my studio systems and could not WAIT for 2016 to up-my-game even more.

WHAT DID YOU GET DONE ON YOUR 2015 LIST?..

If nothing - you're not alone. Until now, I've had more years to report failures than successes.

Health, money, fitness - you name it, I've dabbled with every method of failure you can imagine.

Countless books, lectures and tools have since become a regular part of my life. Apps to remind me, messages to ingest, language that supports my vision, behaviors to improve upon. I've broken through the glass ceiling that prevents us all from maximizing on our lives.

Does this speak to you?

Did 2015 just add to your dislike of setting annual goals?

Did you set goals for 2016 with the same lack of systems to make them real?

My list got even bigger this year, and to it I added - "Share these tools with people that want more from their lives!"

If this speaks to you, I'd love to have you join me for breakfast this time tomorrow. I guarantee that you will get 10x's your investment back from it (an easy claim, since it's only $10 bucks to come and includes coffee/snacks).

CLICK HERE for the details on the presentation, and I hope you'll join us to come ROCK YOUR GOALS for 2016!

The segment on cloud-based organizational tools alone will be worth your valuable time, and prove to save your employer even more!

I hope to see you there.

Passionate for nature, life, writing and sharing, this site is mutually dedicated to my three favorite vehicles through life - Photography, Writing and Speaking. As professional photographer I was (and still am) in my favored "Observer" mode. As writer, these observations exposed a deeper understanding into ethics, authenticity and leadership. As speaker, I get to be selfish. In giving we gain - big! By helping you to discover your own authenticity, passion and where you too are a leader, I get a huge pang of fulfillment. Yes, I am a giver - the most selfish sort of person that ever was. (that is, once you realize how great the results of giving truly are)
