I've been spewing thoughts on paper for about as long as I've called myself a photographer. While chatting with my life-coaching mentor Mary Morrissey several years ago, I was explaining my feeling of guilt around wanting to write a book. I spent years working tirelessly to build up my photography studio, earned numerous awards for my work, and though I was (and am still) passionate for it - I felt a burning desire to write.
"Am I being greedy to want that too?.." Like a sculptor's chisel, her questions etched away to arrive at a description of me I'd never considered. "Brian, you are an appreciator. You appreciate things so much that you want to share them." Profound, simple, and one of those "a ha" moments that led to about 40,000 words over a 40 day experiment to condition myself to typing rather than worsening the callus on my left middle finger.
By way of camera, computer and my rhythmic epiphanies (rhyming poems with purpose) I coined the name Gratitudaholic and created this site to express them all. Add to that, I love creating time-saving tools to allow it all to fit around my family life. As you might assume, it's not enough to have benefited from them, I love to share them as well.
Insights are to be shared, and I hope that you find a few that will help YOU attract the life that you too desire. Best of success in all that you read, see and experience. (and please do share with others).
